door locks are slow to respond and noisy. what do I need to do?

2001 Jeep grand cherokee, electric door locks slow to work and make new noises.

If only one is sluggish, problem is in the solenoid/lock unit/latch mechanism on that door. If problem is with all four, you have a bad ground/electrical problem with the switch. Should be a door lock switch on the passengers door as well, same problem when using that switch? Then a bad ground connection....
