I had that problem here in TX during the summer. Finally figured out that it was the INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR on my 2007 Grand Cherokee. Your sensor may have a different name but basically it is the sensor that measures the air temperature before the intake and after the air filter. Look into this
Jeep runs like new when first started. Can drive about 30 minutes or so and it’ll start missing
