tail lights don't work

Asked by JeepNoMore Nov 11, 2012 at 05:42 PM about the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1 Answer

Start with the basics: Fuse. If the fuse is blown, replace it and see if it holds. IF fuse is APPARENTLY NOT blown, replace it anyway with a new one of the SAME amperage. Do not put in a higher # fuse. If still no taillights take a volt meter, or even a cheap, simple test light (12Volt) and see if there is power to the 'hot' side of the fuse socket. Be sure to have parking or headlights on when you do this. Get back to me (us) here and maybe we can figure this out
