I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.0 ,
how can I tell if the lifters are bad it has a bad tick
that started suddenly after I changed the oil and
valve cover gasket

Not sure where tick is coming from I thought it was top of motor but don't think so now

    Just had lifters and other work done. Runs ruff, eco came on and doesn't seem to re open lifters. Almost dies at stop sign now. What do i do. I just threw 2000$ into it.

    My 1987 chrysler fifth avenue has a loud tapping sound when it's first started and goes away after a few seconds. Is that the lifters, and if so how do I fix it.

  • Changed cam sensor lifters and still makes lifter noise oil pressure is good. Going to flush and change oil then add misery oil. Will this help. 16 Answers
