Engine trouble

Asked by Amiee Oct 21, 2016 at 02:11 PM about the 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Jeep cuts off when I change from reverse
to drive, sometimes when I slow/come to a
stop, and sometimes just randomly going
down the road. I've also noticed it's been
going through more gas lately. I think it
might be transmission related but I'm not
sure. Any help would be great appreciated!

Have you done a tune up lately? Also check the IAC (idle air control valve).
