Audi A4 1.8t

Asked by Josseline Jan 31, 2016 at 11:26 PM about the 2002 Audi A4 1.8T quattro AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 a4 1.8t, I recently filled my tank &
drove the car the same day, but the next morning
my car won't turn on. it turns on, then turns off. I
just replaced the fuel pump to a brand new one
(pump & filter) but still doesn't stay on. also, the
alarm doesn't activate anymore. all the dashboard
lights come on as normal but it just won't stay on.
what could be the problem?

The problem- you own an old Audi which will be nothing but problems and you took it to someone who doesn't know how to work on these- uh, questionable automobiles- if this "mechanic" doesn't seem to be a complete bozo take it back to him- otherwise......well, Houston, we have an Audi problem-

:P well as much as i would like to say i told you so but I told you the ford guy would show up first lol. Any ways was the car running correctly before or after you got the pump and filter were replaced? Also does your car have a blue key icon on your dash board?
