Are you sure it wont start because of an electrical issue or is it maybe related to the fuel? my 04 a4 cabriolet had trouble starting and we found it was just the fuel pump. you can test it, find the fuel line and un clamp it. try to turn the car on just for a moment with someone watching the fuel line. if fuel doesn't shoot out with a good bit of force the fuel pump is gone, and generally runs from $110-130 to buy, replacing is easy as its under passenger side rear seat, or in cabriolet models in the trunk.

Check your plugs. I bet you they are wet with gas and same thing is happening to me and unfortunately I haven’t found a solution yet

Check your coils and then wires feeding coils. Wires get brittle with age and malfunction, hence no spark won’t start.

Same thing here my friend, replaced camshaft sensor, oxygen sensor and engine speed sender, the car won't start, it starts and die immediately, when connecting my vag machine it simply shows NO FAULT.
