larger wheels and tires

Asked by northbaysunspace Jun 09, 2018 at 02:21 PM about the 2004 Audi TT 3.2 quattro Coupe AWD

Question type: Car Customization

My son has an Audi 2004 TT Quattro V-6. It has 7.5 " x 17" wheels with 205 /
50R17 tires. He wants to go with 8.5 x 18" wheels and new tires. We are trying
to find out if this will work with no body work and what size tire may work.

1 Answer

If you get the right tires it could work. If you could get 225/40 18 tires they would be the same diameter. Go to tire size dot com to compare tire sizes.
