Turning Off

Asked by kennethM Dec 19, 2015 at 11:44 AM about the 2004 Audi A4 1.8T Turbo Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, I have an Audi A4 1.8T 2004 B6, when I
drive it after a while it starts to stop
pumping petrol and turn off. If I stop for a
while for it to get cold and start it again I can
drive it. What can be the cause of this issue?
At first I thought that it is a petrol filter and I
did replace it but the issue is still
happening.

Kell, i have changed the fuel Filter and put the new one as i was thinking that might be the cause.

@ Sam, the Temp is on a normal position. I want to also find out as a friend of mine says that it might be the petrol pump on the fuel Tank so who true can that be?
