Question type: Maintenance & Repair

if i put gear selector in drive from sitting position it will shift through 1st gear
into 2nd gear but when time to shift into 3rd gear it feels like i'm in neutral. i
know what your thinking...3/4 clutch pack and piston bad. but.....when i shift
the truck manually' tacking out the gears it will not only sift into 3rd and 4th
gears but it will pull me up hills all day long with no hesitation. and there is
no check engine lite on at all. need help!!

Just clicks when engine running does not engage in any gear

Ey Rabbitude. Im currently having them same problems you was with your tranny not shifting into 3rd or 4th. Could you tell me how you solved this problem

(Need help) I bought a 04 Tahoe with 3rd and 4th gear out I had the transmission rebuilt but now it’s slips going into 3rd gear rpms revs since the rebuild I’ve changed the shift Solenoids and something eles but forgot the name of it and it’s still slips going into 3rd all over gears seems to shift fines beside when it’s shifting from 2nd to 3rd and help
