Truck wont start, what am I missing?

1995 gmc 5.7 wont start. replaced relay started . On the way home I would hit a
bump in the road or cross railroad tracks and it would die. Switched relays back
and forth to finally get home. Today it wont start soI removed relay and
jumpered power. Starts right up when jumpered. Have new filter, new fuel pump,  
what am I missing?

Still you may be right. I will pull the pins to see if if their tight by connecting each fitting to the relay individually. Thanks for the idea.
