Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 94 Sierra V6, 4.3 l pickup.  The engine is seized and needs a used engine exchange. Does anyone know what years engine would be a compatable replacment from a junkyard? I want to avoid an engine that won't match the wiring I have now or computer differences, if any.  Any thoughts would be helpful.
