1990 Bronco Check Engine Light comes on after about 60 miles of continuous driving

Asked by Aljohn46 Sep 20, 2017 at 09:33 PM about the 1990 Ford Bronco Custom 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I stop and check the gas cap there is quite a bit of fuel pressure
released. Then I restart the engine and the check engine light does not
illuminate.  But if I drive it for 60 miles it comes on. The cap seems to be
holding pressure very well.

Perhaps an EVAP system issue. Have the trouble codes read.
