2006 dodge grand caravan starts only if you have foot on gas pedal

van will not start unless I keep my foot partially on the gaspedal and continue to hold it there to keep the motor running.  engine stalls when I take foot off gas pedal and allow rpm to go to idle speed.

I would start off looking for a vacuum leak. Check that big hose going to the brake booster.
