Why won't my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan accelerate?

Asked by Avis May 26, 2015 at 04:15 PM about the 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 Dodge Grand caravan is having real issues accelerating.  I have had the wire and plugs changed, air filter changed, tires changed.  I have given it a few injector fluid treatments, and it seems like the issue is getting worse.  When I'm on the highway, it won't go above 40/45 for awhile.  It will eventually speed up, but then it will lose acceleration and slow down again for several minutes before it regains speed again.  I have almost 138000 miles on it.
