start my pt cruiser up and it die .try to restat it and will not start light work and radio work. chagne out old batt for new one. still wioll not start

Try the Camshaft Position Sensor. Chrysler 2.4's have a history of this part failing. It is a $20-$30 part at you local auto parts store and a 5 minute job with either an 8 or 10 mm socket.
