2002 Ford Taurus running rough

Asked by LAUK May 23, 2016 at 12:40 PM about the 2002 Ford Taurus SES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has been running rough for a while now, and it mostly shows up
when I first start the car in the morning or after the car has been sitting for
several hours. After I've driven it for a few minutes it seems better. So far I
have tried adding fuel conditioners, replacing the spark plugs and wires,
replacing the fuel filter, and replacing fuel injectors. When I took the
manifold cover off yesterday I noticed that the lower portion of this hose
(circled in picture) was not tight. Could that be my problem?

Great. Is that the only main place a vacuum leak could be?
