Dash and tail lights?

I changed headlight on 2006 Ford Focus Wagon. I then put a new license plate
light on from OReillys since original one was burned out on right side, though
left still worked.  After doing this the new light worked but then as I drove away
the dash lights and tail lights and license plate light would not work.  What did I
do?

Yes, check the wiring at the socket for the license plate light. Sounds like you have a bare spot on the wire that's touching something metal. It was fine until it was disturbed to change the bulb. Hope that helps! Jim
