Talking about but I don't know I live in
Ohio and its really cold he said it the
thermostat but my car is not over
heating.now when we let it warm up
he opened the radiator cap and
coolant came out but was cold from
what he said I didn't touch it so can
you please help maybe it's fine but I
don't know .now I did notice the top
radiator hose was hot but it was like it
was sucking cause the hose looked
like someone was pinching it but after
I shut it off it went back to shape im
pretty sure the person who had it
before me just put some cheap hose
on it .but y would the hose be hot but
the coolant out the radiator is
cold.now the guy helping me said
coolant ain't getting to the engine.I
don't know that's why I figured I try
y'all cause I don't know anyone else
except my dad but he's not here so its
hard for him to help me so please help

Wow, lot of verbiage. let's see if I can follow it. The car does not over heat and the top hose gets hot. The water in the top of the radiator was not hot. If I have that all right then I think your thermostat is bad or the water pump. At least start with the thermostat and lets see what you have. Even a cheap top hose could suck in and not be bad.

My 2005 Thunderbird check engine light has been on for months. It has been to shop over and over. They have replaced the battery, changed some sort of sensor, the gas cap is tight and I filled the tank completely and also had the oil changed. They keep saying the scanner says it needs a new map sensor but they then checked with the local Ford dealer who said the car doesn't have a map sensor. What's up? 5 Answers
