Transmission/RearEnd

I have an 02 Ford Explorer. I left work one day and
it seemed as though the transmission had slipped
out of gear into neutral. Then the next AM it
wouldn't pull off. I jacked the rear end up and let it
back down and it pulled off. I drove it to work apx.
30 mi. When I got off it wouldn't pull off again so I
jacked the rear end up and it pulled off. Does
anyone have any suggestions as to what the heck
is going on? Do I have transmission or rear end
issues?
