2004 expedition wont accelerate pasts 35 mph

Asked by Amahan Dec 28, 2020 at 10:15 PM about the 2004 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD

Question type: General

Everything was working fine until
yesterday ! I was driving back home
from the store and when I would try
to accelerate it literally wouldn't go
more than 25mph
No lights have turned on. The odd
thing is when I move it to the #2 gear
, it'll go up to 50-55 mph
I know I'm going to have to take it to
te mechanic but was curious to see if
anyone knew what this could be ?

Try having transmission filter kit that's changing the transmission filter and changing the transmission transmission fluid sound like you low on transmission fluid or you transmission fluid is really dirty
