O/D LIGHT BLINKING.

Asked by bsmith0917 Dec 20, 2016 at 04:37 PM about the 2006 Ford Escape XLS AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The o/d light is blinking on my 2006 Ford Escape.  The gears do seem to
clunk in place.  I took it for a diagnostic and got the following:  P0748-Line
Pressure Control Electrical Malfunction, P0960-LPC Circuit Open.  All I get is
maybe it is this and maybe it is that.  Any ideas?  I am taking it to a tranny
shop for further diagnosis

Tom, what kinda answer is that? HELLO Captain Obvious. Of course it a transmission code and of course a trans shop can help. We come to these forums because most of us are mechanically inclined and are trying to AVOID the transmission shops and their prices. Im not trying to be rude but it is extremely irritating . "yeah if you have a cylinder misfire then you have an engine problem. Mechanic can probably help."
