Lien on title

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Hello , I’m trying to purchase a truck with a
lien. I am going to pay with a cashiers check,
my question is since I’m visiting family from
Michigan and I’m leaving on the 08/30/19
back to Michigan if I purchase the truck
08/26/19  will I be able to drive it back home.
How long will I have to wait to be able to
bring it back to Michigan, if this time frame
doesn’t work. I have never purchased a
vehicle with a lien on it in general. Do I bring
the cashiers check to his bank and try to
speak with someone from his bank to find
these things out? Sorry this is all new and
seems very complicated.

Buying a vehicle with a lien is risky. Doing the transaction at the banks office is a smart idea.
