transferring title when auto has a lien

Asked by GuruL1MM9 Apr 13, 2019 at 11:39 AM about the 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe LT RWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Please let me know what Carguru does when a seller still has a lien on the auto and does not have clear title?

I am considering posting my 2016 Tahoe for sale however, before doing so, I would like to understand how Carguru assist in making the title transfer.

This is a car repair forum but I can tell you that your loan must be paid off. Compare your loan balance to the current value as you may be upside down on the loan. You could pay the difference or you could try to get another car loan and roll the balance into it which will make for very large car payments. Contact AutoPay if you want to know how they handle it.
