Truck cut off while driving at slow speed. and won't restart?

Asked by 12345freddy Jan 26, 2016 at 08:02 AM about the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LS Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Checked for codes and found P0335 Crankshaft position sensor (A)
Replaced sensor. still no start..
Replaced fuel filter. Still no start..

Need to verify it there is spark, and fuel pressure. And what size engine is it?

Sorry, I don't know diesels much, but almost sounds like an injector pump, but don't take my word for it.
