Transfer case

Asked by Bluesmac Jun 17, 2018 at 01:34 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD LT Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Quick question can I take a np2 out of a truck and put it in a
np8 truck. If not what kind of prices do you have on a
complete np8 rebuilt case and a complete rebuild kit for a
np8 case. I have a np2 truck with a blown motor that I was
hoping I could use the case in the np8 truck. The np2 is a
manual case in a 07 and the np8 is a push button 03 truck.
Thanks for any advice Todd

Car Gurus does not sell transfer cases (or anything else) so shop around on the web or buy a used one from a junk yard or off of Craig's List.
