Should I get a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD

Asked by H0RNET99 Feb 14, 2016 at 07:26 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD LT Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

So I showed my friends a 2003 Chevy Silverado
1500 HD that I might be getting and it has 143,859
miles on it but one of my buddies told me that I
shouldn't get a Chevy in the year 2003 because
that's the year they changed the look and changed
the equipment stuff to electrical and so I was just
wondering what y'alls thought were on me getting a
2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD... I'm 16 turning 17
on the 24th so this will be my first car and I really
would like to keep it out of the shop for the wrong
reasons

Chevys are easy to work on and do hold up if maintained. Cheaper to maintain than a Ford or Dodge. FYI tell your friend they all are electrical now.

I can sell you a 03 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT which is a WHOLE LOT more truck than a Chevy. All The bells and whistles and then some. Take a look at my ad. Only 8995. A beautiful truck
