Hey guys I have a 2003 silverado 5.3 z71 with abs. I replaced a lower ball joint and while repositioning the spindle, I pulled on my abs wire. Must have caused a shoe or broke a wire inside the sensor

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I put tension on the wire, my
truck threw an abs light. I just
ignored it for a few months and just
today I started my truck up and it
said service brake system. I checked
my fluid and it's full. I need from
pads bad which I got to put on
tomorrow. Any ideas what could
cause this? I've heard that the abs
light will but I'm confused why the
indicator for the brake system waited
3 months to come one while the abs
light was on the whole time..
