Anybody know if wheel-well opening is bigger on Z71 package vs base model ('01 Silverado)?

Question type: General

Installed after-market fender flares and they are about 1" short in width on rears and a bit less on fronts. Can close gaps with screws, but that will put a pulling force on double-back tape. Maybe I bought wrong or bought junk.

Thanks much RDH! Also thought Z71 came with 265 tires vs 245's. That's why I questioned. Good day!

The z71 package sometimes makes it sit a little taller. Key bit of info on tire sizes. First number is width, second is the percentage of that width is the side wall hight. A 205/50 r14 would be 205 mm wide and have a side wall 102.5 mm high. Total hight is sidewallx2 + rim size
