Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have 89 k1500 4x4 single cab truck and I was
driving and all of a sudden the motor stops.. I check the
wires on my junction box and the optional relay wire has
a short. That wire runs to the fuse box and half or more
them most my fuses dont work even if I take the fuse
out an check for power now looked high and low for a
wire that is touching metal I cant seem to find anything
the only thing that works in the fuse box would he my
head lights and door lights. Can anyone help me here try
to find the issue???

look for corrosion , You'll need a multi meter to find the problem start from one end and trace wires for any problems .

Ok the wire flows into the the wiring harness and gos behind the intake manifold down by the brake booster into the fuse box by way of firewall now say I dont have an issue with the wire. have a fuse box or relay cause that issue or can cause an issue like that???
