Tow it with the rear wheels off the ground, if it's a local tow most tow companies will lock the steering wheel into place with a strap and hook the vehicle from the rear. The safest way to tow it is with a flatbed but that's costly, usually more than double the cost of hook and chain or wheel lift tows. Watch out for lowball tow offers, as those companies will hook it from the front and tow it with tranny in neutral. Problem with that is output shaft is still spinning, and tranny fluid has no way to cool itself without engine running. No matter what, the rear wheels need to be off the ground.
