I was driving down the road the other day in my 2002 Chevy Express van 5.7 and traveled 5.6 miles and lost power.

Asked by Veracruz_1055 Jan 23, 2017 at 09:15 AM about the 2002 Chevrolet Express Cargo 3500 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Seemed like it stop getting fuel. Looked at fuse and ecm-1 fuse had blown.
Had it towed back to my house and replaced fuse and started right up. After
turning around to back it into garage and driving in, put in park and turned off
ignition and fuse blew again. Checked relay, it is fine. Any ideas? Seems like it
is fine when idling but blows after it is warmed up.

Check the slot for the fuse and make sure that it is not full of corrosion or any moisture. Also, check owners manual to ensure that you are placing the right amperage fuse in the fuse slot. Could possibly be the amperage of fuse may be too low.
