does it loose total overall power it is supposed to downshift

It boggs down, sometimes dies, and it acts like it is not getting any fuel or too much fuel...

When stepping on the brake cause,s this,it has to be a vacume problem,check for vacume leak,s or go have a vacume test done on it to find the problem,and if engine light is on ,have it scanned,to give you some idea what is happening.
