Heater cuts off when van is cranked

I replaced my ignition sprockets and
tumbler.with the key in the on position it works
fine but when I crank it it cuts off.

All of my vehicles do the same thing. Your radio cuts of also. It’s normal.

I believe when the starter is engaged all other circuits are off to give the starter max. amps .So that may be normal .

Gotta wonder how much thought was put into this question..... Does the heater cut off or is it the fan? Accessories don't get power to them when the ignition switch is in the start position, so the fan doesn't run. If it's actually the heater off when starting the engine, how would you know?
