will there be any long term problems with just ignoring these lights and not seekin to repair them?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Lexus RX350 with 118k miles!  My check engine, vsc and trac
off lights are on and the dealer merely tells me it could be fairly expensive in
labor hours alone to try and problem solve this.  I saw on earlier threads to
disconnect both battery terminals to let the computers drain of electricity. I
did so for about 24 hours and when I reattached them the lights were off.
Now however, after about 4 days, the lights are back on!  Will it hurt to ignor
these lights?

Get it fixed as it may cost more to ignore it.

so you are asking if you can just drive a car without any maintenance?! no, no magic cars, yet-

Some auto repair shops test the "Check engine light" for free. I have this problem now. The repair shop charged me $129 to diagnose the problem--I didn't know about the free diagnostic checks down the street. The repair shop wants to charge me $2500 to replace both catalytic converters. I'm going to get another opinion tomorrow.
