dashboard lights pulsating will idling

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

had to jump the car to get started now the dash lights and headlights are pulsating while
idling. Why? Not charged enough? Need new battery?

have your alternator tested. or test yourself with a multimeter. set it to volts DC. you should have something over 13.5+ volts. some auto parts stores will do this for free.
