I have 1969 corvette. I had the engine rebuilt and it showed 80PSI on the oil pressure. The gauge of a 1969 only goes to 70 PSI. is this ging yo be a problem or will the gauge go past the 70? I'm trying to keep it original in looks.

If you feel it is too high, have a secondary gage put on and see if they read the same. Try changing the sending unit if you want. If the gage is original it may be worn or have a weak spring. About $70 will get you a new or reconditioned gage.
