Just bought a 2006 GX470. None of the door locks will lock via remote or door lock switch. Unlock functions works fine. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Question type: General

Everything works on this 105,000 miles GX470 except the door locks. Unlock
function works great but not locking. Please let me know if you have ideas on
things to try or if you repaired yours.
Thanks in advance,
Frank

Ok this is where it gets tricky... Check fuse. Then relay and if not you may have to pull the master control from the driver door to see if wires are damaged or working. If all those check there is a way to program and activate locking sequence. Contact me back for that information once those are done

Thanks for that info. I will check those items. Last night I went through the set up process to make the locks activate when you put the car in gear to see if that changed anything. I could hear the locking mechanism click like it was going to lock the doors but the door locks never moved.

I think it is all working now. When we tried it this morning it worked. I guess last night after I went through the set up procedure it didn't start working yet because I needed to close the doors, use the key fob, start the engine again or something to make it work. all good now. Thanks for your support.
