how does Cargurus relocate the car to the new owner

Never ever buy a car site unseen, always have it checked over before signing anything.

First, I'd advise you, as Gene did, to see & inspect the car prior to actually paying for it. If you don't know how to diagnose potential problems, have a mechanic do that and provide you with a detailed report, You could use a professional inspection service, like lemonsquad, an economical way to go. You may then drive it the 3,000 miles home or have it shipped professionally. There are lots of transport companies, just google this.

In addition to what Gene and Ed said, make sure the vehicle is California Emissions or C.A.R.B. certified before you buy it. If it's not it won't pass the smog test. Jim
