Fuel pump not working

89 camaro 2.8L
Fuel pump wasn’t pumping fuel thru the lines.
But was turning on and pushing air through
the lines. So I Replaced the fuel pump and I
am having the same problem as before. Does
anybody know what could cause this problem
I am lost here lol?

did you change the fuel filter too? under the driverside passenger seat area under car if i remember right.
