I smell coolant but don't see a leak

I change the water pump the thermostat checked
all the hoses .all the hoses are good . there is no
leak that's appearing that I can see but I can smell
the coolant then 2 weeks later my car starts to leak
from where it looks like where I put the water pump
in what could be the problem

check for a leak inside under the dash, sometimes your heater core can have a small leak inside and you do not see it tell you feel around and find under the glovebox is a little damp, feel around good under the dash, you can also add some food coloring to your water, (do not open cap when hot)

First of all I could thank everybody for reading my question and helping me out I went out and purchase some radiator seal made for GM and at the moment it looks like I do not have a leak thank you guys I appreciate all your help
