I smell coolant but don't see a leak

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I change the water pump the thermostat checked
all the hoses sold all the hoses up there is no leak
that's appearing that I can see but I can smell the
coolant then 2 weeks later my car starts to leak
from where it looks like where I put the water pump
in what could be the problem

Thanks I also have read tha. I need to add the pellets to the antifreeze. I heard that this would complete the seal on the pump in a north star engine. Thanks again.
