Why does my car stall? I have a 1995 Cutlass Supreme 3.1.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 Cutlass Supreme and for
some reason I'm having a lot of trouble
accelerating. It gets worse as the motor
itself warms up and it's getting to the point
now where I can't even drive to work. It
usually starts happening about 2500 to
3000 rpm. I have already replaced the water
pump, fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, wires,
and coils... I need to get this thing fixed
cause it nickel and diming me to death.
Please help.

Sounds like you might have a crankshaft position sensor or camshaft position sensor going bad. Or maybe even the throttle position sensor going bad. Is your check engine light on? If so have the codes read and post the numbers back on here.

Unfortunately I don't have a check engine light. Which do you think the better chance of fixing it is... Because I didn't get a full check and can probably only get one this week
