my 2002 hyundai battery continues to drain - why

Asked by Elgrand_327_72 Jan 14, 2017 at 01:01 PM about the Hyundai Sonata

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've replaced the battery and the alternator but the battery light and the oil light continues to come on when driving. Why/

The oil light is a separate issue. Check the oil level and maybe go ahead and change the oil and filter. If that does not do it then replace the oil pressure sender unit. If your car has high miles your engine may just be worn out. For the charging system have the battery and alternator tested but also clean and tighten the battery connections.
