air conditioner malfunction

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We had to have our battery replaced by AAA last week.  My air conditioner
now only works on the coldest setting.  I checked in the Owners manual and
found that it needs to be reset after battery replacement.  I followed the
instructions, but could not correct the problem.  What am I doing wrong ??  
The dealer could not schedule an appointment for me until Aug 6.  Is there
any danger in running the air conditioner at the coldest setting non-stop until
my appointment on the 6th?.

You shouldn’t have any problem running at the coldest setting. I live in Florida and my runs on the coldest setting damn near year round. I’m curious as to the model year of your Sonata, I have a 2014 Limited Turbo and just had my battery replaced (by AAA) and my AC didn’t do that, in fact I didn’t even have to reset my radio stations.
