Where is the battery located on a 2015 Mercedes Benz GL 450

I need to charge the battery.  It seems to have gone down after two months of leaving it
without starting it.

Some cars have battery located under back seat or in front fender well.

Battery is under the front passenger seat. See owners manual for how to access it and get it out. Under the hood you will find a red post for connecting battery cables. Black ground to frame. Again, detailed in the owners manual.
