Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Has anyone ever heard that you had to
take to dealer to have the system
reprogrammed?

The computer in the vehicle (ECM) needs to be reprogrammed if there has been a serious malfunction in the system. Also, changes in the intake and exhaust systems need to be reprogrammed. It is not required to take the vehicle to the dealer for this purpose, but it is certainly necessary that the person doing the reprogramming is knowledgeable in the field.
