in the electronic shifters in Ram trucks, you place the nob in park but at times the prwl will not prperly ingage into the teeth of the parking gear. Dodge will not admit there is an issue.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

No can I legally sell this truck knowing it may not be safe?

If you disclose the problem it should be OK but I would not sell it that way. Take it to a reputable transmission shop for repairs. What year is your truck and what model transmission?

Oh, come on... This should not be a problem so you need to sell the truck! But if you don't want to spend money to find out, ofcourse you can sell it, but please just be an honest gentleman and save another guy from this problem or something worse. I would have no problem in buying a car like this as long as the price is ok and I know the issue so would always curb the wheels and push the brake. Best of luck!
