truck rolls backwards when in park

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On several occasions my truck while in park has rolled backwards several feet.
I brought it to different dealers and got different answers. Palmon dealer in Racine stated they have never heard of this issue and found nothing wrong with the truck and acted as if I was making this up. I showed the service manager several articles on the internet where others were having the same issue. He stated that they will not go by online articles.
I then took the truck to Martines in Union Grove. The service manager stated that he has heard of the problem and he explained that it had to do with the electronic transmission and at times the Prowl might not engaging correctly into the parking gear. And at this time there is no fix for it.
Now I find this situation to be very dangerous, if for some reason I forget to engage the parking brake or the brake fails to work, that truck could roll backwards and either hurt or kill someone.
I need to know if Ram is looking into this issue and if there is a fix in the works.
Otherwise I have no other recourse but to sell this truck. And due to the treatment from Palmon Dodge, I will not be buying another Dodge product.
As of right now I want to keep my truck.

Not sure about this transmission but could it be a damaged parking pawl? Usually it's not a big deal to fix for a professional with some time on his hand...
