Have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, that won't start when it rains (no clicking noise, but have full power) It only has 67,000 miles. Also the gauges don't move, but engine, battery, abs, lights all go on, when I try to start it.

If i were you id check the spark plug covers and make sure those are not getting any water on them. That would explain why it wouldn't start. Thats all i could think of, if that's not it i would say to get a tester and code it and that should tell you whats wrong with it. Still check the spark plug wires first.

My mechanic did all that, but by the time he got the truck, everything was working. Where can I find the spark plug wires? I tried this morning (after have down pours last night) to see if the fuse were wet, and they did seam to be. I was thinking of taking a hairdryer to it, but didn't know what to dry first or what to look for.

what ever you do don't put a hairdryer to it. that will fry the wires, the spark plugs should be under the cover on the engine right when you pop the hood. (if you have a cover, if not then that's the problem) they will look like wires with a head going into the engine block, they will pop out and make sure the car is off and stick a cloth into the end of the spark plugs into the end of it.pull it out then check if it is wet. if it is then that's your problem.

I had a similar problem like that on my Nitro. it turned out to be the shitty leads that connect to the battery posts. They're so thin and barely make any contact to the anode at all. Mine had a minimal amount of corrosion on them. I cleaned them and the posts, reinstalled and tightened and haven't had a problem since.
